From the US company Alfalfa King comes this wonderful, natural and so, so tasty Alfalfa.

Alfalfa is ideal as a natural food treat for small animals - and rabbits especially just love this!

It is high in calcium to build strong, healthy bones and is great tasting. This Double-Compressed Alfalfa provides the length of fibre essential to small animal's digestive system. It is also ideal to use as an appetite stimulant during times of illness or recovery, and is high in fibre.

As with any high calcium product, alfalfa should be fed as a treat to adult animals. Because of the high calcium, alfalfa is ideal for youngsters. High calcium foods should be fed sparingly to any animal known to be susceptible to calcium/bladder issues.

Also from Alfalfa King: Natural Timothy Hay and Oat, Wheat & Barley Hay ... tasty!

Review by Mrs M

This is a very good quality Timothy Hay, and 98% of the time a huge hit with my guinea pig boys. I have given 4 stars only, because there is a tendency to end up with a lot of dust and fine broken bits of hay, sometimes as much as a quarter of the bag full, which to me is very annoying as this is not a cheap product.

Also I have noticed when we are coming towards the end of that year's growing season, the hay tends to be very brown and 'twiggy', but that said, it is still immeasurably better than UK produced hays IMO.
