Customer Reviews

Good - but not "long spouted"
Review by Busy Mum

This is a good enough bottle - doesn't drip any more than any other brand I've tried.
I bought it because it said "long spouted" in the description.
I wanted a bottle that could be fixed to the outside of a commercial cage for easy filling, and with a spout long enough that my guinea pigs could reach it and long enough so that the drips fell into a saucer underneath.
Sadly, the spout is not long enough - about the same as my other bottle which fixes to the inside of the cage.
It has to be fixed to the outside of the cage as the spout needs to rest on a horizontal bar with the wire clip holding the bottle. This means that the inevitable drips from the spout fall at the base of the slope of the cage tray, so I can't fit a saucer underneath to catch the drips.
The result is wet bedding.
I've had to go back to my other water bottle that can be fixed to the inside of the cage (more of a faff to refill, but at least no wet bedding!)
Please, please can someone design a bottle:
- with a truly long spout
- that fixes to the outside of the cage for convenient filling
- that doesn't drip!!
You'd make millions!
