Cost of Goods & Cost of Shipping
The price of all goods and services are clearly displayed. Other than the addition of postal charges which are added once you have completed your shopping, there are no hidden additional costs or low order fees. Postal fees will depend on the level of service required and the weight of the final order.
Postal costs can readily be checked at any stage of the shopping process by entering into the secure checkout area (no purchase at this stage is necessary). Available postal services, their relevant change and approximate delivery timescale will be clearly displayed.
Methods of Payment
We accept payment by cheque, postal order or credit/debit card. Bank transfer payments can also be made - please contact us for further information on this.
We occassionally run promotions, discounts or offers for you and your little ones. Unless specifically stated, these cannot be combined with other discounts, promotions or offers within the same order.
Orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours of clearance of funds. Should any item be out of stock at the time of order, the order is normally part dispatched with the out of stock item following once in stock. Should there be any unforeseen delays or issues with the order we will e-mail and discuss options. We will always endeavour to ensure customer satisfaction and will do all we can to meet customer requirements where possible.
All customer areas (such as accounts, entering personal details etc) are SSL secured via GeoTrust, and our security can be validated by clicking on the GeoTrust logo. These areas are defined by the https:// file path which will be displayed in the browser address bar.
All credit/debit card transactions are carried out by third party credit card processors which meet the FSA standards of UK banking. ALL payment transactions are carried out on a minimum of 128-bit encrypted SSL servers, and verification can be made by contacting the payment processors concerned.
For Your Protection
We guarantee to meet our obligations under the consumer protection laws currently in force, specifically:-
- the Sale of Goods Act 1979
- the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982
- the Consumer Credit Act 1974
- the Trade Descriptions Act 1968
- the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and the 1994 Regulations
- the Consumer Protection Act 1987
- Distance Selling Regulations - a customers' right to cancel the contract at any time up to 7 working days starting the day after delivery.
Contracts & Statutory Rights
These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer as required by the Code of Practice
We offer no-quibble refund/exchange policy if the goods dispatched are faulty or not as described. We wish to ensure 100% satisfaction with our products, so if you have any concerns about our products, please contact us.
Please note: should a product be returned from outside the UK, for whatever reason, we are not liable for the duties, taxes or cost of return that may be incurred as a result. If you have a problem with an item in your delivery, please speak to us in the first instance.
We aim to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. However, if something does go wrong, we will do all we can to put the situation right within our capabilities.
Data protection & Privacy
We are registered with the Data Protection Agency, and abide by the guidelines issued by them.
We do not pass on, discuss or sell ANY customer details to ANY third party unless required to do so by law.
There is one exception, of course - we do provide delivery address and telephone number (when provided) to our courier company for the sole purpose of delivering the order. The telephone number is only required in case of delivery issues (for example, if the driver can't find an address and gets lost!), and this delivery information is not passed to any third party, again unless required to do so by law.
