Product Description

Treat your small furries to the natural goodness of our diced Beetroot, a delicious and crunchy snack packed with flavour. Carefully dried to help preserve its natural taste, colour and nutrients, this wholesome vegetable treat makes an excellent addition to a varied diet.

Beetroot is enjoyed by rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and other small animals for its naturally sweet taste and satisfying crunch. The drying process removes moisture while retaining much of the beetroot's original character, creating a lightweight treat that's easy to store and serve.

Our Beetroot is carefully hand-sorted to ensure the highest quality for you and your little ones. Naturally delicious and full of flavour, it's perfect as part of a balanced diet, an occasional treat, or sprinkled over hay to encourage natural foraging behaviours and add extra enrichment. The convenient diced pieces make portion control easy, helping you offer just the right amount as a tasty reward. They're also ideal for use in treat dispensers, puzzle feeders, and activity toys, providing both mental stimulation and feeding fun.

Beetroot naturally contains folic acid and vitamins C and B1, and is often valued for its potential to support normal circulatory function as part of a varied diet. Its naturally sweet taste makes it a favourite with many rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small pets.

Whether used for hand feeding, enrichment, or foraging, Beetroot is a wholesome, natural treat your pets will love. As with all Hay Experts products, you can buy with confidence knowing it meets the quality standards we'd expect for our own animals.

Our Peter Rabbit finds this beetroot very tasty !

Peter Rabbit is not keen on hay, so we need to find other healthy things for him to eat, and even then he is quite fussy. However, he is very fond of this dried beetroot. I don't give it every day because of the cost and the fact that it can colour his wee !

My buns (3 of them) clearly love them as the bowls go flying to dig them out from under the herbs I place on top! Always well packed, and always high quality!
