Ask about Deans Meadow Hay
This is an excellent hay for eating as well as bedding or litter tray use.
Great for rabbits as well as guinea pigs and other small animals. A definite thumbs up from the The Hay Experts four-legged testers!
Pack sizes:
- Regular (about the size of a very filled pillowcase!).
- Large (about double the size of Regular)
Please note: The Large bag size is exclusive to The Hay Experts and may either be in a Deans branded or clear bags, depending on what packaging Deans are able to provide. Hand packed for quality and consistency. Seasonal and harvest variations may affect cut length, but this has a longer cut length than mechanically packed hays.

Customers praised this meadow hay for its excellent quality, featuring long strands, fresh smell, and dust-free composition. Pets consistently loved it for both eating and bedding. A few noted inconsistent quality batches and concerns about bag size versus price. Customers said "lovely long strands" and "smells amazing."
- Very fresh, long stranded, no dust and smells lovely. It's very hard to find fresh DUST FREE hay.
- Excellent quality, really good size bag and very fast efficient delivery.
- Smells lovely, has lovely long strands and is green. The only hay I'll get for my bunnies.
Struggled to find hay for my rabbit after my local store closed found these guys on line I will be ordering all my hay from here now excellent quality really good size bag and very fast efficient delivery
Very good condition but it's very fine and my bunny doesn't seem too keen. Decent price for the amount.
The best meadow hay of any.Ive used it for decades when I lived near the farm. Now I'm in Oxfordshire, but was delighted to still be able to buy it via the internet.
My three guinea pigs love the hay!
Unfortunately my bunny’s won’t eat it, this time 😞they love their hay so when they don’t touch it I know it can’t be very good. They usually love this hay I always buy it.
Great quality hay, seems fresh , well packaged
My rabbits love this hay, and they can be fussy, so I have this hay on subscription
We struggled to find good quality hay until we found this product- excellent quality hay with efficient delivery.
The service is amazing and delivery really quick
I ordered the Large bale as my guinea pigs get through a lot and when it arrived it was even bigger than I was expecting it to be. Great value for money
When arrived very pleased with the hay very fresh long stranded no dust and smells lovely .its very hard to find fresh nice quality DUST FREE hay my rabbits eat it all ,also a nice large bag very pleased .will definitely will buy again thank you for careing about small animal welfare
The only hay my guineas will touch!
Fantastic hay, 100% my go to hay now for my 3 Guinea pigs bedding and eating! Ive already recommended it to my friends with small animals :)
I have hedgehog Foster unit and I use this hay in their beds. Excellent quality long hay.
I usually order direct from deans farm as their hay is brilliant however they recently stopped doing house orders. I don't drive so getting to the garden center isn't that easy. So I tried the hay experts but am disappointed as the size of the large bags is actually very small, about half the size of the bags I would get from deans farm at the same price! I may still order from here as I don't have many options but am disappointed about bag size as these smaller ones don't last long
The additional postage made this not a viable product to purchase again.
Our Rabbit loves this hay. It is really good as bedding but also for eating too. We order this on a basis and its quality is consistently high.
Good Quality Meadow Hay as always and a really Great Price
Our rabbit loves this meadow hay, it is definitely his preference and we feel it is a quality product at a good price. Happy to recommend.
My two Guineas love this. Much better than the hay we had been getting from the pet shop.
I was very impressed with the size bag (I bought the smaller size). The hay is lovely and long (I've bought others that say 'long' but are not) and smells really good, even for a hooman. My bunnies are loving it, will buy again.
A huge bag of great quality meadow hay that the bunnies love.
The hay was really good quality, light and dust free and was 'long' soft meadow hay. Really great.
Excellent product, long strands of fresh hay which our Rabbit loves. Definitely recommend.
Nice long strands that the bunnies enjoy, in a huge bag to minimise packaging waste that the humans enjoy.
My Guinea pigs love this !!
Quick service and excellent product.
Very soft and sweet smelling
The three of us - buns and me - love this product and the quality is consistent as it's our staple hay purchase.
Bunnies love it
