Ancol Nail Clippers are designed to help you trim a pet's claws comfortably and safely. With a comfortable non-slip handle and a semi-circular groove in the blade to help you easily check that the correct amount of claw is being removed. A sharp, durable blade helps to ensure a clean cut.

Further Information: Pets should be comfortable and relaxed before having their claws trimmed. It is recommended that only the very end of the claw is cut to avoid cutting the quick, and cutting a little off reasonably frequently helps to keep the nails in good condition.
If initially cutting long or over-grown nails, trim slightly every few days to encourage the quick to recede naturally.
It is advisable to seek advice from a vet, nurse or groomer before trimming your pet's claws for the first time, as this will help to gain confidence in handling your pet in order to trim your pet's claws safely.
We advise shining a light (using a torch etc) under the claws of dark coloured nails on order to show where the quick is, and have Trimmex or other stop-bleed product to hand in case the quick is accidentally cut.
