Carefully dried to preserve their natural flavour and aroma, apple slices provide a tasty way to add variety and enrichment to your little ones' diet. Their irresistible sweetness makes them ideal for hand-feeding, rewarding good behaviour, or hiding amongst forage to encourage natural foraging behaviours.
As with all fruit, our dried apple slices should be fed in moderation as part of a balanced diet based primarily on high-quality hay and a small amount of a species-appropriate food.
A little browning is perfectly natural! Once apples are sliced and exposed to air, they begin to develop a golden-brown colour through a natural process called oxidation. Rest assured, this has no impact on their quality or delicious flavour. If anything, it's a reassuring sign that we've kept things natural and free from unnecessary preservatives!
