This UK Cat Grass Seeds is Oat Grass seed, suitable for rabbits, guinea pigs and other herbivores (as well as cats!) is easy to grow and ideal for providing fresh grass year round. It can be sown outside or in pots or trays for grazing.
Cat Grass Oat Seeds can be enjoyed by all types of cats...and rabbits, guinea pigs and other herbivores.
Plant the seeds in the top 1cm of soil and water - sprinkle a few seeds into your pot so they are not touching and have space to grow. Growth is typically within a week and the grass is normally ready to enjoy within 2 weeks. Produces lush oat grass once grown, ideal for indoor windowsills or outdoor planters.
Feeding: allow grazing from the pot (see top tip below) or cut with scissors and feed loose. As with all fresh foods, introduce slowly if your little one has not had this before.

How to grow: Sow, water and let it grow. Snip with scissors or allow supervised grazing once established.
Top tip - place fine metal mesh (chicken wire type, for example) over the top of the pot and allow seeds to grow through the mesh. This prevents the roots from being grazed on by enthusiastic bunnies or piggies! Grow a number of pots in this way, offering one or two at a time for grazing. Once grazed down to the mesh, replace with another tray and allow the grazed tray to grow on for further grazing at a later time.
